Our DRIP EDGE EXTENSION (DEE) is a thick, 2-inch wide aluminum flashing with a 3/4 inch bend installed under the existing roof drip edge. The DEE is then adjusted to follow the pitch of the gutter to guide rain water directly into the gutters.
Our DEE guarantees 100% leak protection between the gutter and fascia.
Without DEE, surface tension makes rainwater follow the contour of the fascia and creates black streaks, which are the first indication of rotting fascia, and eventually causes rain water to leak behind the gutters. DEE will prevent black streaks, rotting fascia, and leaks.
